Data Center
Liquid Cooling

AI computing puts new demands on cooling infrastructure. World Rig Supply welcomes requests for coolant-compatible hose assemblies, connections, fittings and related fluid-handling components, subject to technical review and supplier qualification.

INDUSTRIAL COOLING APPLICATIONS

What kinds of connections do AI data centers use?

Modern liquid-cooled IT environments can use cooling distribution units (CDUs), rack manifolds, cold plates, flexible hoses, tubing and specialty quick-disconnect couplings. Requirements vary by the system designer and the coolant circuit.

Coolant-compatible hose

Flexible supply and return connections, with material compatibility and bend-radius requirements defined by the project.

Quick-disconnect fittings

Low-spill or blind-mate couplings may be specified at rack or tray connections; matching standards and validation are essential.

CDU and manifold connections

Hose and tube connections between cooling distribution hardware and coolant manifolds, subject to equipment drawings.

Testing and traceability

Where required: cleanliness, leak tests, material compatibility, traceability and customer-specific documentation.

What to include in your inquiry

  • Cooling-loop location: facility loop, CDU supply/return, rack manifold, or server tray.
  • Coolant chemistry and concentration, operating temperature, working pressure and flow requirements.
  • Inside diameter, length, routing constraints, minimum bend radius and quantity.
  • End connections, quick-disconnect standard or specific manufacturer part numbers.
  • Cleanliness, leak-testing, conductivity, material and traceability requirements.
  • Project location, lead time, and required validation documentation.
Important: Oilfield high-pressure hoses should not be assumed compatible with data-center coolant systems. Any proposed assembly must be qualified for coolant chemistry, cleanliness, pressure, temperature, leakage risk and applicable standards. This is an inquiry/sourcing service, not a claim of stocked or certified data-center components.
